Bhim Rawal resigns from 10-point implementation job power

5 October, Kathmandu. CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal has resigned from the task force formed to implement the 10-point agreement.

He resigned at the standing committee meeting on Friday saying that the 10-point agreement had not been implemented. According to Rawal, party president KP Sharma Oli has moved towards not implementing the 10-point agreement.

“I have resigned as there is no justification for sitting in the task force as the discussions in the task force and the party’s decision are not valid,” Rawal said after the standing committee meeting. He also said that he would send his resignation in writing to the party president.

In the standing committee meeting, Rawal also disagreed on the 10-point agreement. He also disagreed with the standing committee’s nomination of two leaders as central committee members.

He said that it was not a legal decision to keep Prabhu Sah’s word.
