Motion has been initiated in opposition to the abuser of consuming water leader: House Minister Khan

5 October, Kathmandu. Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has said that action has been initiated against the leaders and cadres of Sike Raut for abusing Rajesh Kushwaha, chief of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Management Project Office, Janakpur.

Understanding the memorandum at the Home Ministry on Friday, Khan said the government was serious about the security of staff and the state system. “The government is serious about protecting employees and the state system,” he said.

He said that the district court had on Friday extended the seven-day term by filing a criminal case against 17 CK Raut cadres for abusing Kushwaha.

Kushwaha was mistreated by CK Raut’s cadres when he reached his office on Thursday.

A delegation led by Umesh Thani, chairman of the Center for Democratic Engineers Association, Central Committee of Nepal Engineers Association, Bagmati Pradesh Committee and delegation of Nepal Civil Servants Union handed over separate memorandums to the Home Minister.

The memorandum called for stern legal action against Kushwaha, saying the abuse was reprehensible and reprehensible. The memorandum also calls for maintaining peace and security.
