How difficult it is for some parents to accept the love of their children. Instead, they do not hesitate to do so. In Pakistan, a father has lost his two daughters, four grandchildren and a son-in-law.
Manzoor Hussain of Muzaffar district in central Pakistan did not accept his daughter’s love marriage. He caused the incident by bringing his daughters Fujia Bibi and Khurshid Mai to his house. Seven people have been killed in the incident.
Of the two daughters, Fauzia had married Prem against her father’s wishes 18 months ago. “The incident appears to have been the result of a love affair,” said Abdul Majid, a police officer investigating the incident.
Hussein and his brother have been charged with felony criminal mischief for killing seven people. Bibi’s husband has said that he was not at home when he came. He said that he was coming home in the morning on his way back from work.
Bibi’s husband said he saw Manzoor and her brother returning home. He said that his father-in-law and brother-in-law were dissatisfied with his marriage. Agency
Similarly, two people, including a five-year-old boy, were found dead in Baitadi today. Dhwaj Bahadur Bista, 47, of Saksaya Gaonpalika-5 was found dead in Kaksyali at around 10 this morning while walking from his brother’s house in Ghoddhouni to his house. The cause of his death could not be ascertained and further investigation is underway, said police spokesperson Darshan Khadka.
Meanwhile, five-year-old Subham Bista of Dilashani-4 Mathairaj has also been found dead. Subham’s body was found on the bank of Chaulani River near Dogadakedar-6 Chamtadi, police said. Subham’s mother Jayanti Bista, 28, had drowned in the Jamadi River with Subham on November 20. The status of Jayanti is still unknown. Jayanti’s husband is at home. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
