The Nepal Bar gave the Leader Justice 15 days

5 October, Kathmandu. The Nepal Bar Association has given Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra 15 days to express his commitment to judicial reform.

A meeting of the Nepal Bar held on Friday gave 15 days to the Supreme Court to decide on the implementation of the recommendations of the committee headed by Justice Harikrishna Karki.

A statement issued by General Secretary Leela Mani Poudel said that the Nepal Bar will meet the Chief Justice on Sunday (November 22) to discuss the issue and then make the rest of the decision.

“If the Supreme Court does not make a commitment within 15 days to implement the report immediately, the judicial leadership will not be able to be trusted,” Barr said in a statement.

The Nepal Bar had held a meeting on Friday to discuss the current overall issues and take further decision after the discussion.
