Bikas Meraglia, a young Nepali player who has been playing professional football in Italy, will play Martyrs’ Memorial A Division League football from Castle Youth Club.
Today (Friday) the Castle Youth Club held a press conference and informed that the young player Vikas, who has been playing professional sports in Italy, has signed a contract with the club. As soon as the agreement was signed, the young striker Vikas will play in the A division league of Castle Club. Vikas has signed a one-year contract with Castle.
Nepal’s top division league is being organized from October 13. Chassell has signed Vikas as a foreign player. Vikas will wear number 10 jersey while playing from Castle. Vikas, who has a contract with Castle, said the atmosphere with the club inspired him to play football.
The 18-year-old Vikas has already played for Italy’s U-16 national team. Vikas has been playing for the youth team of famous Italian club Atlanta. Similar developments have taken place in Venezia’s youth team and the senior teams of Catolika and Mariglianes. Vikas, who arrived in Italy in 2008 at the age of six, came to Nepal to play in the Nepal League after 13 years.
