A jeep wearing 9 passengers was once swept away by way of the river

Gulmi. A jeep was swept away by the flood of Dahere Khola in Gulmi on November 20. The jeep has been found.

The Bolero jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3432) heading to the left from Butwal went missing after crossing the river at Satyawati Gaonpalika Wadanambar-6 of the district.

Gyan Hari Sapkota, a local, said that the jeep was found 800 meters below the spot on Thursday. There were 9 passengers including the driver in the jeep.

The jeep fell into a swamp near the river and the passengers and driver got down. After that, the jeep was washed away by the water including mud coming from above.

All the luggage of the passengers were swept away along with the jeep. Earlier, a truck was swept away by the river during the rainy season.

Dahare Khola falls on the Ridi-Wami road section in Area No. 1 of Gulmi District. Although this road has been open for years, no concrete bridge has been built over the rivers. The road has not been tarred.

Therefore, at their own risk, hundreds of vehicles pass through this road from Gulmi district to Burtibang of neighboring Baglung district.
