Beldandi changed into anxious when the tiger entered the barn within the afternoon, killed the 4 animals and began consuming them

Belgadi, 7 October. In Beldandi village, a tiger has entered the cowshed during the day and killed four animals. The cows, calves and goats tied in the barn have been killed and eaten by the tiger. On Saturday alone, a goat tied in the barn of Rangbir Basnet of Beldandi-2 has been killed and eaten while a calf in the barn of Shankar Dutta Bhatt of the same place has been injured. Only three days ago, a tiger broke into Basnet’s barn and killed a cow.

“In the past, we used to hear of tigers coming to the settlement only at night,” said local Vimal Dhami.

The locals have become scared after the tigers started appearing in the settlement before evening. Before evening, the locals have stopped walking in the village for fear of tigers.

Locals have also requested Shuklaphanta National Park for control after the tigers started damaging the four-legged animals.
According to locals, no effort has been made to control the tiger so far. Along with tigers, even elephants have been damaging the crops planted by the people of the area. रासस
