Kathmandu, 7 October. Nepal Airlines Corporation has started air service in the hilly districts of the far west from today.
The air service has been started keeping in view the convenience of the passengers as the roads in the hilly districts of the far west have been blocked due to rains. Chief of Dhangadhi Airport, Ram Krishna Bhatta, said that a test flight has been launched from today to operate flights to Bajhang and Doti hilly districts based on Dhangadhi.
Residents of the hilly district have received relief after the start of air service. There is a demand from the locals to fly regularly as airfare is cheap. The fare from Dhangadhi to Doti is 2,615 and from Doti to Dhangadhi is 2,515. The fare from Dhangadhi to Bajhang has been fixed at Rs 3,995 and from Bajhang to Dhangadhi at Rs 3,895, said Chief Bhatta.
The corporation had already made public the schedule for flights from Dhangadhi to hilly districts. रासस
