Kathmandu, 7 October. Coronavirus infection rate has been declining in Nepal recently. Doctors are saying that the infection rate is decreasing due to the vaccine against corona. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the total population of 337,855, 28.3 percent have been vaccinated first and 21.7 percent have been fully vaccinated so far.
Similarly, 199,22,164 out of the target population of 18 years and above have been vaccinated, out of which 43.2 percent have been vaccinated first and 33.1 percent have been fully vaccinated.
According to the ministry, 39.6 percent of the age group 15 and above have so far received the first dose of vaccine and 30.3 percent have received the full dose of vaccine.
A total of 15.23 million people have been vaccinated since the start of the vaccination campaign. At least the first dose of the vaccine has been given to 8.6 million people. Similarly, the first dose of the vaccine was given to 65 lakh 98 thousand 530 people, according to the ministry. Nepal has purchased vaccines against Corona virus Covisild, Verosel, Johnson & Johnson, Japanese Astrageneca and Swedish Astragenera.
