Cricket International Cup: England’s 2nd consecutive win, Scotland’s 2nd defeat

Kathmandu, October 26: England and Namibia have won yesterday’s match in the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. In the first match played in Abu Dhabi yesterday, England defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets for the second consecutive victory.

England completed the target of 125 runs set by Bangladesh by losing only 2 wickets in 14 overs. With this victory, England is at the top of Group 1 with 4 points in 2 games. This is the second consecutive defeat of Bangladesh without any points.

Scotland’s second defeat:

In the second match played in Abu Dhabi, Namibia defeated Scotland by 4 wickets. This is Namibia’s first victory in the World Cup Super 12. Namibia completed the target of 110 runs set by Scotland by losing 6 wickets in 19 overs.

With the win, Namibia in Group 2 has added two points in one game while Scotland has suffered its second consecutive defeat.Photo: Agency
