Dividend announcement of Ganapati Microfinance, the highest in the last two years

Kathmandu. Ganapati Microfinance Financial Institution has proposed to pay 20 percent dividend to the shareholders. The proposal was made at a meeting of the board of directors of the organization held on November 25.
The meeting has proposed a total dividend of 20 percent from the profit of the fiscal year 2077/78 to the shareholders by giving 19 percent bonus of the paid up capital and 1 percent cash for tax purposes.
The proposed dividend has to be approved by Nepal Rastra Bank and passed by the next annual general meeting of the organization.
At present, the paid up capital of the organization is Rs. 127.3 million. After 19 percent bonus share, the working capital of the organization will exceed Rs. 151.4 million.
The proposed 20 percent dividend is the highest in two years. The organization had distributed 15.79 percent dividend from the profit of the Fiscal Year 2076/77 and 7.36 percent from the profit of the Fiscal Year 2075/76.
