Handicraft business honest to be held at Lodge Hyatt from November 19

Nepal Handicraft Federation is going to hold a handicraft trade fair. The Federation of Handicrafts is going to hold the 18th Handicraft Trade Fair and the 16th Art Exhibition at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu from November 19 to 20.

The fair was announced at a press conference on Thursday. Around 120 stalls of various items including handicrafts will be set up at the fair. Under the art competition, natural fiber and filigree will be competed in two categories and the best exporters who are over 70 years old and export handicraft items to foreign markets will be honored. Similarly, the attractions of the fair include excellent stall and pavilion competition, exhibition of traditional and budding handicrafts, exposure of intangible cultural heritage, craft competition, said Rabindra Shakya, coordinator of the 18th handicraft trade fair and 16th art exhibition.

The purpose of the fair is to promote the domestic and international market of Nepali handicrafts, to promote export trade, to develop relations between Nepali entrepreneurs and foreign handicraft importers and to convey the message to foreign handicraft importers and consumers that an international level trade fair will be held in Nepal at a certain time. Is Shakya, who is also the coordinator of the 18th Handicrafts Trade Fair and the 16th Art Exhibition, said that the fair is believed to provide opportunities for new entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to access the market as well as highlight the relationship between handicrafts and Nepali culture.
