11 October, Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to meet in Glasgow, Scotland. It has been decided that sideline talks will be held between Deuba and Modi during the 26th Conference on Climate Change (COP-26) to be held in Glasgow.
Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for Scotland on Friday (November 29) to attend the conference.
According to a source close to the Prime Minister, India has accepted Nepal’s request for sideline talks. Deuba and Modi have not met since 2074 BS.
The conference on climate change will be held from November 29 to 30. It is mentioned in the schedule made public by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that Prime Minister Deuba will go to Scotland on the 12th and return home on the 18th.
