The frame of a tender guy who went lacking after being swept away by way of a river has been present in India


October 11, Saptari. The body of a young man who went missing after drowning in the Jita River in Saptari a year ago has been found in India.

Lalu Mandal, 23, of Kankalini Municipality-9, Hanumanagar, went missing on October 19 after drowning in the Jita River due to incessant rains.

According to Saptari Police Spokesperson and DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle, the body of Mandal, who went missing after being swept away by the Jita River in Ward No. 14 of the same municipality, was found in the Jita River in Kunauli, India.

According to him, the body was found in a decomposed state. He said that the legal process including the seal of the body will be completed in India. He said that an initiative is being taken to bring the body to Nepal after the completion of the legal process.

He was crossing the Jita river with his friend Sanjiv Kumar Mandal on his way from Tilathi to Rampura Malhaniya. At the same time, both of them were swept away by the river. After the flood, Sanjiv managed to cross the river while Lalu was swept away by the river.
