Assembly of five-party alliance concluded, 11-member coordination committee shaped (with video)

Kathmandu, 22 Kartik. A coalition meeting of the five pro-government parties has been concluded. At the meeting, government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that the five-party alliance has decided to jointly prepare for the upcoming National Assembly elections and by-elections.

He said that the government has also formed a coordination committee. The committee consists of Ram Chandra Poudel and Krishna Sitaula from the Nepali Congress, Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Narayan Kaji Shrestha from the UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee, Madhav Nepal from the CPN (Unified Socialist), Upendra Yadav from the Janata Samajwadi Party and Chitra Bahadur KC and MP Durga Poudel from the Janamorcha. It is understood that Ram Chandra Poudel will chair the first meeting of the coordination committee.
