Critically injured in Dang twist of fate had been taken to Kathmandu

October 22, Dang. Parvati Wali has been airlifted to Kathmandu by helicopter as her condition is critical.

Similarly, nine injured have been shifted to Kohalpur Teaching Hospital for further treatment, according to Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur. The other injured are undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident. The driver of the jeep is absconding, police said.

One died on the spot and 19 others were injured in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Dev Bahadur Sunar, 32, of Chauri Balle, Kalimati Gaonpalika-3, Salyan, said Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Tulsipur. The deceased goldsmith is the owner of the vehicle.

According to Area Police Office, Tulsipur, the injured have been identified as Parvati Wali, 30, of Dangisharan Gaonpalika-2, Rita Khatri, 28, of Salyan Kalimati-3, Simalkuna, Resham Budhathoki, 29, Khimraj Budhathoki, 18, and Babai Gaonpalika-2. The deceased have been identified as Pavitra Oli, 23, her son Dinesh Oli, 3, Prashant Rana, 6, of Kalakhola, Kalimati-3, Pramisa Khatri, 56, and Kamala Basnet, 32, of Babai-2.

Similarly, Prashant Khatri, 10, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-15, Pavitra Budhathoki, 35, of Banke Rapti Sonari-9, Sapna Oli, 17, of Kalimati-3, Khali Oli, 55, of Shantinagar-4 and Deepa, 32, of Banke Kohalpur Municipality-4 were also injured. Oli, his daughter Sangita Budhathoki, 15, Apeksha Budhathoki, 8, and Sushila Rana, 28, of Bardia Basgadhi Motipur.

The deceased have been identified as Bimpa Khatri, 60, of Dhakeri, Rapti Sonari, Banke, Sobha Budhathoki, 28, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-9, Beluwa and her son Lokendra Budhathoki, 7.
