23 October, Kathmandu. A team comprising Lumbini Minister for Economic Affairs and Cooperatives Krishna Dhwaj Khadka, Lumbini State Congress parliamentary party leader Birendra Kanodia, Lumbini State Planning Commission Vice Chairman Bamdev Chhetri, Commission member Damodar Bhusal and MP Rekha Sharma met Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the team informed the Home Minister about the state budget and non-compliance with the State Police Act and the Federal Civil Service Act, said Kanodia.
After hearing the team’s demand, Home Minister Khan said that he would do his best to solve the problems raised by the team. “Every possible initiative will be taken to solve the problems raised by the people here,” he said. He also said that the government was serious about the issues raised by the team.
