Rani, who used to be injured in a scooter twist of fate whilst going to Tihar buying groceries, additionally died

Rani Ranamagar of Surkhet, who was injured in the accident on November 3, also died. According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, Rana of Bheriganga Municipality-12 died at Karnali State Hospital on Sunday night.

Rani and her brother Rabin Ranamagar, who were coming from Chinchu to Surkhet to shop for the festival, were hit by a mini truck on Thursday last year. Rabin was killed on the spot while Rani was injured in the accident. Police said that he died last night while undergoing treatment.

Didi-Bhai Karnali Pradesh Scooter (0200 Pa 7669) was hit by a truck (Karnali Pradesh 02-001P0124) heading for Nepalgunj from Jumla at Vureni near Birendranagar at around 1:45 pm on Thursday. The scooter was driven by Robin. His sister Rani was sitting in the back.

Locals have closed Chinchu Bazaar after the death of Didibhai. Police said that the Surkhet-Nepalgunj road section and the market have been closed since Monday afternoon.

Rabin, who died in the accident, had joined the Nepal Army four years ago. Rabin, 26, who arrived home on Thursday morning after taking Tihar leave, went to see his sister Rana for the first time.

Her sister Rani, 29, had a master’s degree in English. She taught at a local boarding school.
