The Nepal Military gets a mortgage of as much as Rs 2.5 million from Rastriya Banijya Financial institution



Kathmandu: Rastriya Banijya Bank and Sainik Kalyanak Kosh have reached an agreement on Monday to provide soft housing loan to the Nepal Army personnel. The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Kiran Kumar Shrestha and Director General of the Army Welfare Directorate Anand Kumar Adhikari in the presence of Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma.

After the signing of the agreement, the bank will disburse concessional housing loan to those who have completed minimum 10 years of service in the military service up to a maximum of Rs.

The Rastriya Banijya Bank, selected on the basis of competition, will be given a subsidy by the Soma Fund with a minimum premium at the base rate. As per the agreement, the fund will also provide deposit to the bank.

The event was attended by Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Kaviraj Adhikari, Assistant Director of the Fund Rathi Sagar KC, Senior Chartered Accountant Jeevan Prasad Poudel, Fund Administrator of Rastriya Bima Sansthan Kavi Prasad Pathak and other senior officers of the Nepal Army.
