The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has recognized the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) as a B category under the AFC Coaching Convention.
The AFC accredits ANFA to provide training and licenses from the creation of C and B license courses. ANFA has been granted B-class membership in the AFC Coaching Convention. Now ANFA will be able to recognize the license itself by training the instructors instead of designing the C and B license courses in Nepali language.
Sanjit Singh, Head of Coaching Education, ANFA, informed that Nepal will now be able to recognize the B license itself and its recognition will be all over Asia.
Now, players who have been involved in football for a long time and have problems in English language will be able to do courses up to B license in Nepali language. Nepal has become the fifth country to be granted a B license under the AFC Coaching Convention.
Earlier, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives have been recognized as B category. Now, Nepal has received permission from the AFC to prepare instructors in its own language to be recognized across Asia.
