Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala tied the knot

Kathmandu, October 8 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has tied the knot with her boyfriend Asar Mallik at an Islamic ceremony in Birmingham.

Malala, 24, got married yesterday. Malala, a women’s and girls’ rights activist, said marriage was an important day in her life.

Wes took refuge in the Midlands in 2012 after being shot in the head by the Taliban. Malala tweeted that she is tied to Asar as her life partner. Malala Yousafzai is still being targeted by the Taliban for advocating for girls’ education.
