5 native ranges of Tanahun are loose from corona

Five local levels of Tanahun have been freed from corona. Out of the ten local levels, Rishing, Ghiring, Devghat, Bandipur and Aabukhaireni villages have been freed from corona, according to the Health Office, Tanahu.

Shankar Babu Adhikari, a vaccination officer at the health office, said that five local levels of the district have become corona-free as the second wave of corona infection has been declining. Corona testing is also low at the local level.

After the onset of the second wave, 134 infected people of Ghiring, 91 of Rishing, 90 of Devghat, 268 of Bandipur and 111 of Aabukhaireni have been cured.

Currently, there are 38 active infected people in the district. According to the health office, there are 16 active infections in Vyas, 14 in Shuklagandaki, two in Bhanu, three in Bhimad and three in Myagde.

Recently, 5,366 people were confirmed infected. Five thousand 204 of them have recovered. Six thousand 886 samples were collected for PCR testing and eight thousand 254 samples for antigen testing. In the second wave, 124 corona infected people have died in the district.

86 thousand people were vaccinated

So far 86 thousand 216 people have been vaccinated in the district. Of them, 65,838 have applied both the doses. Of those fully vaccinated, 16,746 are from Vyas, 9,436 from Bhanu, 10,061 from Shuklagandaki, 6,525 from Bhimad, 4,645 from Myagde, 2,788 from Ghiring, 3,729 from Rishing, 3,589 from Devghat and 4,047 from Bandipur.
