Biplav publicizes national agitation towards building up in costs of petroleum merchandise


October 25, Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal, led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplava), has announced a nationwide movement.

The CPN (Maoist) has announced a six-day nationwide protest program against the rise in prices of petroleum products.

In a statement, party general secretary Biplob has made public the programs ranging from nationwide protests to Nepal Bandh.

According to the announced program, there will be nationwide protest on April 9, torch procession on April 10, nationwide demonstration from 1 to 2 pm on April 10, Chakkajam from 10 am to 11 am on April 11, sitti procession in the afternoon and masala procession in the evening.

The Biplav group has also decided to close Nepal on the last day.
