Training Minister Poudel leaves for France to wait UNESCO Common Meeting

October 25, Kathmandu. Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has left for France. Minister Poudel left for Paris, France at 8:25 pm on Wednesday to attend the 41st General Assembly of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Poudel, the Minister of Education and Chairman of Nepal for UNESCO, is scheduled to address the 193-nation General Assembly on Thursday, November 11.

He is scheduled to address issues such as progress, higher education and inclusion in the education sector under UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 at the UNESCO General Assembly on November 9.

At a meeting of participating education ministers on November 12, Minister Poudel is scheduled to address issues such as global modern education. While there, Minister Poudel will discuss science and technology, social sciences, mass media, culture, climate change and other issues, according to his secretariat.

The UNESCO General Assembly meeting, which has an important role in the field of education, will be held till November 17. The General Assembly will also select a new leadership.
