One person has died in a scooter accident at Gwarko Chowk in Lalitpur. The deceased has been identified as Binod Budhathoki, 37, of Gowarko.
According to the police, the scooter (02-026 Pa 8155) driven by Budhathoki was found in a state of ‘L’Day’ at 1:45 pm on Saturday. The driver of the scooter, Budhathoki, was found seriously injured. He was rushed to B&B Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to Lalitpur Police.
Police said that they are investigating whether the scooter itself was involved in the accident or someone else was involved in the accident. Four Indian nationals were killed in a car accident in Rautahat last night. All four victims are Indian nationals. The accident took place at around 10 pm on Saturday night in Junkhunuwa of Yamunamai village municipality-5.
The deceased have been identified as Arun Sah and Dinanath Sah of Bakhari Betauna in Bihar, India, according to the District Police Office, Rautahat. According to SP Binod Ghimire, who was on duty at the spot on Saturday night, the car (UK 12C 2900) was found drowned in a ditch below the road.
SP Ghimire said that four men were taken out of the car after breaking the glass. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood that the four occupants of the car came from India to have fun in Chandranigahapur on Saturday.
