The airstrikes killed 186 Huthi rebels

November 28: A Saudi-led coalition airstrike against Huthi rebels in Yemen’s Marib and al-Bayda provinces kills 186 people, government sources said on Saturday. A day later, 32 rebels and nine pro-government soldiers were killed in the southern Yemeni port city of Hodeidah, officials said.

The Saudi-led coalition has been carrying out a series of daily airstrikes since last October in the city of Marib, the last stronghold of the government, killing a large number of rebels, according to government sources. More than 3,000 rebels have been killed in air strikes by the Saudi-led coalition on a daily basis for some time, according to government sources. But Iranian-backed Huthis have rarely commented on the casualties.

However, AFP has not been able to independently verify the death toll of the coalition’s rebels. Last Friday, rebels seized control of a large area south of Hodeidah.
