Vacancies for Chamling Language Useful resource Lecturers


Khotang, Nov. 12: The Halesi-Tuvachung Municipality has created the post of Municipal Teacher (Chamling Language Resource Teacher) to teach Chamling language. Incentive allowance and book transportation expenses have also been provided to the schools teaching the language. Accordingly, one post of Chamling language resource teacher has been created for the primary school in ward no. 8 Dhitung.

As per the decision of the Municipal Education Committee on 11 November, the school management committee had called for advertisement on 22 November for the teachers of the language. The school has stated that the teacher will be provided monthly salary facility of 13,500.
According to Mayor Evan Rai, such posts have been created as per the demand of the school. Chamling Rai language has been taught in seven schools of Dhitung in the municipality-8 with eleven wards since 2065 BS.

Up to class 5 in Bulapanthe Secondary School in Dhitung, up to class 5 in Suryajyoti Secondary School, up to class 5 in Janachetana Primary School, up to class 5 in Sarvavati Primary School, up to class 5 in Dalit Janajaran Primary School, up to class 5 in Janakalyan Primary School, up to class 5 in Sarvavati Primary School and up to class 3 in Paruhangsharan Primary School. Chamling language is being taught. In Sarvavati Primary School, not only Chamling speaking students but also students of all castes are studying Chamling language.

Incentive allowance and book transportation expenses were provided to the teachers through the then VDC for the protection and promotion of Chamling language. When the teacher was transferred, the subject was not taught in Suryajyoti Secondary School for two or three years.

Before the implementation at the local level, the Kirant Rai Yayokha Preliminary Committee was formed on the initiative of the then teacher Khambaraj Rai for a period of one financial year and a budget of Rs. This was the largest amount ever allocated for teacher incentives.रासस / File Photo
