Jeep crash whilst strolling to fill Ekadashi Bazaar, fears of casualties

Okhaldhunga: A Bolero jeep heading to Kakani Bazaar to fill Ekadashi Bazaar has met with an accident in Sunkoshi village. Ward Chairman Jhanak Karki confirmed that he fell into a ravine about 100 meters below Jaubari Road on Saturday morning while going to Kakani Bazaar from Okhaldhunga.

Although initial information has been received that some passengers were injured in the accident, the exact details have not been revealed yet. The number of vehicles in Bolero remains to be confirmed. A team from Police Post Koshhat has reached the spot. Ward Chairman Karki informed that rescue work was underway for the victims.

According to locals, the vehicle involved in the accident belonged to Suman Bogati of Sunkoshi Gaonpalika Ward No. 8. It is said that Champadevi Kakni, a local of Siddhicharan Municipality-10, went to visit Kakani on Monday morning.
