Jumla’s minimal temperature is minus 5 levels

October 29, Khalanga. Locals in Jumla have been suffering from cold after the minimum temperature dropped to minus 5.5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has urged to be vigilant as the temperature is rising across the country.

The department has requested to take general precaution to avoid cold as the maximum and minimum temperature of air is decreasing. There is no significant weather system in Nepal.

Ratan Rokaya, a local, said that they used to light fires in the yard as it gets colder in the morning and evening.
