Kathmandu: Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha is getting married to businessman Tarun Pratap Shah. Former Miss Nepal and model Ishani Shrestha and businessman Tarun Pratap Shah got engaged in a five-star hotel in the capital today. The two exchanged rings in the presence of family and relatives on both sides.
Ishani, who became Miss Nepal in 2013, had participated in the Miss World pageant in Bali. Ishani also won the ‘Beauty with Proposal’ award for the first time, setting a record for the first woman to reach the Miss World Top Ten.
Tarun, the son of businessman and media entrepreneur Vishwanath Prasad Shah, prefers to identify himself as an educationist. He runs colleges like Shepherd’s College, Triton College, Shubhshree College etc. Haldiram Tarun’s company, which is ruling in Dalmoth, has been distributing in Nepal.
Ishani herself has posted a photo with Tarun on Instagram with the caption ‘Love of My Life’. In her photo, Miss Nepal and Miss Nepal’s runners-up have showered good wishes.
According to Ishani, the wedding will be held on December 21. An engagement party was held at the New Hyatt Hotel in Soltimode, where celebrities were also present.
She is also the first Nepali participant to reach the top 10 of Miss World. Tarun, a media entrepreneur and businessman, has run Safed College, Triton College and Shubhshree College. Haldiram, a dal production company, is being run by Tarun. Ishani shared a photo with Tarun last year and revealed her relationship with him for the first time.
