Brazil and Argentina are tied in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 South American selection. Brazil drew 0-0 with Argentina on Wednesday morning.
In a competitive match, both the teams were forced to share the points as they could not take advantage of the opportunity to score. In today’s game, Brazilian striker Neymar Jr. was not on the field. Neymar missed the game against Argentina after injuring his left thigh during training.
Brazil, who topped the South American World Cup qualifiers, have already secured their place in next year’s World Cup in Qatar. Brazil has 35 points from 13 games, while Argentina is in second place with 29 points from the same game.
Argentina will have to wait for another game to be selected in the World Cup.
