Two arrested with cash and valuables of various international locations

Police have arrested two persons from Nepal-India border Belauri Municipality-1 Fataiya Dashgaja along with coins and valuable jewelery of different countries.

Lal Chandra Shahi Thakuri, 38, of Fataiya, Belauri, Kanchanpur and Bishnu Shahi, 38, of Chisapani, Lamkichuha Municipality-1, Kailali have been arrested for stealing goods from Bangalore, India, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

From both of them Indian Rupees 43,900, Hong Kong Dollar 40, Thai Baht 1,260, US Dollar 1,005, Canadian Dollar 2,810, Malaysian Ringgit 23, Singapore Dollar 18, Qatari Rial One, Dubai Diram 130, Chinese Yuan. 161 have been recovered.

Similarly, 439.89 grams of gold jewelery including stones, 1,471.18 grams of gold stones, 439.89 grams of gold without stones and 1,998 grams of stones of different colors and four laptops have been recovered.

Although they were being chased by the Indian police, they had informed the Armed Police after entering Nepal.
