Congress Joint Common Minister: Counting of votes: Umakanta Chaudhary’s lead against Tharu

Kathmandu, Jan. 2 The counting of votes for the post of Joint General Minister of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is underway. The counting of votes has started at 11 am at the Congress Central Office, Sanepa Lalitpur.

So far, Umakanta Chaudhary has taken the lead in the Tharu cluster. With 1,000 votes counted, Chaudhary has received 542 votes. He is on the side of Krishna Sitaula. His rival Tejulal Chaudhary got 442 votes. He is the candidate of Dr. Shekhar Koirala.
