Nepal is fielding first towards Bangladesh after dropping the toss in U-19 Asia Cup


9 Poush, Kathmandu. In the first match of U-19 Asia Cup Cricket, Nepal is playing against Bangladesh today.

The game has started in Sharjah, UAE from 11:15 am. At present, Bangladesh is batting and Nepal is fielding.

The match between Nepal and Bangladesh scheduled for yesterday was postponed to today.

Nepal is in Group B. Along with Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Kuwait are in this group. Nepal will play Sri Lanka on Sunday and Kuwait on Tuesday.

Earlier, Nepal had reached the semi-finals of the competition held in Malaysia in 2017. Group A hosts UAE, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have made a winning start in yesterday’s match.

India beat UAE by 145 runs, Sri Lanka by 274 runs and Pakistan by 4 wickets. With the victory, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have two / two points in the table.

The top two teams from both groups will advance to the semifinals.
