APF. Top Minister’s Cup identify


Kathmandu, 5 January. Nepal APF Club has won the title of Prime Minister’s Cup National T20 Cricket Tournament.

APF won the title by defeating Nepal Police Club by 21 runs in the final held at TU Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

After APF’s target of 158 runs, the police could manage only 136 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Deepender Singh Airi played the highest half-century innings of 65 runs for the police.

Similarly, Dilip Nath scored 23 runs while Arif Sheikh added 12 runs.

Kishore Mahto of APF took 3 wickets. Similarly, Avinash Bohra, Deepak Bohra and Amar Rautela took 1/1 wickets equally.

Earlier, electing to bat after losing the toss, APF was all out for 157 runs in 19 overs.

Amar Singh Rautela top scored for APF with 29 runs while Lokesh Bam added 27 runs.

Sandeep Jora scored 24 runs while skipper Sharad Bheswakar scored 19 runs.

Police’s Deepender Singh Eri and Sagar Dhakal took three wickets each.

Similarly, Gulshan Jha took two and Arif Sheikh and Yogendra Singh Karki took one wicket each.

Along with the title, APF got Rs 500,000 in cash, while the runner-up police got Rs 300,000.
