South Africa gained ODI collection towards India


Kathmandu, 8 January. South Africa has won the three-match ODI series against India.

South Africa defeated India by seven wickets to win the series 2-0 in the second ODI at South Africa’s home ground on Friday.

The third and last ODI will be held on Sunday.

South Africa chased down India’s target of 288 runs losing just 3 wickets in 48 overs.

Malone was the top scorer for South Africa with 91 runs while Quinton de Kock contributed 78 runs.

Similarly, Captain Temba Babuma scored 35 runs.

Edin Markram and Rossi van der Dussen were also unbeaten at 37-37.

India’s Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzbendra Chahal and Shardul Thakur equalized 1-1.

Earlier, batting first, India added 287 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs.

Rishabh Pant of India contributed the highest 85 runs. Similarly, captain KL Rahul played a half-century innings of 55 runs.

Tabrez Shasmi took 2 wickets for South Africa.
